dc.description.abstract The way we interact with technology has changed, new technologies development lead to more user-centric systems, with increase in computational power and high speed network connectivity, increasing web services lead to the development of a personal assistant. In this research, we will look at what exactly is personal assistant system, various components of the system. How is ontology plays a major role in this system and how one can create an ontology which he can incorporate by a personal assistant, we seek to demonstrate this by taking a case study of financial services where by the developed ontology can be used in assisting bank customers. en_US
