dc.description.abstract An efficient simulation based e-Learning course should provide users with high-flexibility and attractive learning environment. As a result, a simulation based e-Learning course must offer abilities such as allowing students to choose suitable learning resources; helping students understand their levels of learning and their learning process clearly; and helping both students and instructors evaluate achievement for each learning resource. In this research, a simulation based e-Learning is developed as an integrated environment in which simulation and e-Learning are integrated with learning resources. The developed supply chain management e-course was applied as a case study. The simulation - Beer Game, facilitates learning process of students and makes it easier for them to control their learning processes. The simulation based e-Learning course is based on the MOODLE framework for e-Learning environments including some modules and activities. To evaluate the influence of simulation on e-learning activities, an experimental evaluation was conducted on a group of twenty-five students as learners. The evaluation was based on the difference in student performance between before and after playing Beer Game simulation in which quizzes were used as measurement tools. The result indicates that Beer Game simulation can help students improve their performance in supply chain management e-Course and has influence on the learners’ positive attitude toward the course. en_US
