First semester, Year 1

• AT70.12: Web Application Engineering
• Electives, 9 hours credit. Typical offerings include Networking, Knowledge Management and Information Retrieval, Database Management, E-Business, and courses in other programs. For students without a strong background in Computer Science, we recommend Data Structures and Algorithms (AT70.02) and Theory of Computation (AT70.03).

Second semester, Year 1

• AT71.05: Information Systems Development and Management
• AT70.18: Software Architecture Design
• Electives, 6 hours credit. Typical offerings include Computer Graphics and Animation, XML, Information Systems Development, Human-Computer Interaction, Advanced Networking, Decision Support Technologies, and courses in other programs. For students without a strong background in Computer Science, we recommend Programming Languages and Compilers (AT70.07).
