Assistant Professor at the Institute of Information Science and Electronics,University of Tsukuba

  Studied in the graduate school of Engineering Science at the Osaka University and received a doctral degree in Electrical Engineering in 1976.Began working for the Fifth Research Section (Computer Ethnology) of National Museum of Ethnology in the same year. Moved to the institute at the University of Tsukuba in 1982.
